GIRAF is a fall-semester project for students at Aalborg University. Each fall semester, student teams contribute new features, improvements, and research to our applications.

The wiki contains:

  • Development environment setup guides
  • Project architecture documentation

  • Git workflow and branching strategy
  • Technical documentation for each application

What You’ll Work On

Depending on your semester and study program, you might:

  • Develop new features for Weekplanner, VTA or Foodplanner
  • Improve user experience based on feedback from partner institutions
  • Research user needs through collaboration with Egebakken Specialskole
  • Write documentation and improve onboarding for future students
  • Fix bugs and improve code quality

GIRAF involves students from multiple programs:

  • Software Engineering (5th semester)
  • Information Technology
  • Interaction Design

This interdisciplinary collaboration mirrors real-world software development.
