Join the GIRAF project

Each fall, 5th semester students from Interaction Design, Software Development and Information Technology join GIRAF.

What you work on

Depending on your education you might:

• Build features in Weekplanner, VTA or Foodplanner
• Test the apps with children and staff at Egebakken Specialskole and act on what you find
• Move an app onto the shared giraf-core service
• Fix bugs and improve code quality

All code is at github.com/aau-giraf. Each repository’s README explains how to run it. Start with the contributing guide.

• visual-tangible-artefacts: VTA app, API and admin dashboard
• foodplanner and foodplanner-api: Foodplanner app and backend
• giraf-core: shared service for users, organisations, citizens and pictograms
• giraf-ai: pictogram generation and text-to-speech
• giraf-deploy: Docker Compose for the full stack
